Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edison). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Tracy Bulldogs 40-0 on the road. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Vikings considering their seven-point performance the matchup before.

Devin Rasmussen was a one-man wrecking crew for Edison as he threw for 235 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.8 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 33 yards. A healthy portion of that aerial production (136 yards to be exact) went to Langdon Horace, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Another reason for the win was Edison's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Leading the way was Frances Taamu with three.

Edison's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Tracy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Edison and Lincoln are set to duel on Friday. As for Tracy, they will challenge Lodi at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Lodi will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Tracy surely won't give up without a fight.
