Soccer Recap: Columbia Academy Takes a Loss

Columbia Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lawrence County Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that Columbia Academy have lost by just one goal.

Columbia Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Lawrence County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

Coming up, Columbia Academy will square off against Hazel Green at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lawrence County, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Lawrence County face off against Hardin County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
