Basketball Recap: University Prep Takes a Loss

University Prep came up into this matchup off a tough 34-point defeat last Saturday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Eastside Prep by a score of 38-35 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Pumas in their matchups with Eastside Prep: they've now lost six in a row.

University Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Eastside Prep, they moved to 1-4 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

University Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tyee at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Eastside Prep, they will be home for the holidays to greet Bear Creek at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
