After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cape Elizabeth, Gardiner was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Nokomis Warriors with a sharp 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Gardiner was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-15, 25-16.

Loss or not, Nokomis got some senior leadership from Jayden Hood and Baylee Lord. Hood had 17 digs and five aces, while Lord had nine digs, four kills, and three aces. Hood is crushing it when it comes to aces: she's served at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
