Baseball Recap: Shawnee Takes a Loss

Shawnee lost against Fort Recovery back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Shawnee took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fort Recovery. Shawnee has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shawnee saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ty Rudasill, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI. That home run was Rudasill's first of the season. Another was Braeden Stiles, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Shawnee's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Fort Recovery, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Shawnee will head out on the road to challenge Elida at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Indians surely won't give up without a fight. As for Fort Recovery, they will welcome Parkway at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
