Baseball Recap: Mendon Unity Mustangs vs. Seymour Indians

Mendon Unity was the 6-1 winner over Seymour when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Mendon Unity Mustangs fell just short of the Seymour Indians by a score of 6-4 on Tuesday.

Sawyer Allen put in work no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and only two hits while striking out six over four innings pitched. Allen has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive pitching appearances. Allen was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with a stolen base, two RBI, and a double.
