Soccer Recap: West Brunswick Takes Down Swansboro in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but West Brunswick had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They skirted past the Swansboro Pirates 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but West Brunswick were the better team in the second half.

Eduardo Bonifacio and Melvin Bautista scored both of West Brunswick's goals, bringing their combined season tally to nine goals.

West Brunswick's victory bumped their record up to 9-10-2. As for Swansboro, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-15-1.

As of now, neither West Brunswick nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
