Soccer Game Preview: St. Charles North vs. St. Charles East

The St. Charles North North Stars will take on the St. Charles East Fighting Saints at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Charles North's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While St. Charles North's victory against Central wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. St. Charles North never let Central get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for St. Charles North in their matchups with Central: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, St. Charles East waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Storm by a score of 4-2. That's two games straight that St. Charles East have won by exactly two goals.

St. Charles East pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 14 goals over those three games. As for St. Charles North, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

St. Charles North came out on top in a nail-biter against St. Charles East in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 1-0. Does St. Charles North have another victory up their sleeve, or will St. Charles East turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
