Volleyball Recap: Carmel Comes Up Short

Carmel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marist RedHawks. The Corsairs were not able to make up for their defeat to the RedHawks from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13.

Carmel's loss dropped their record down to 7-27. As for Marist, their victory was their 31st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 33-2.

Coming up, Carmel will welcome Grayslake Central at 1:00 p.m. on Monday. Marist does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
