Volleyball Recap: Gray Stone Day Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Gray Stone Day was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Lee Park Prep on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Knights fell 3-1 to the West Stanly Colts on Monday. The Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Colts from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Gray Stone Day started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-16, 25-10, 25-0.

Gray Stone Day has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season. As for West Stanly, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-3.

Looking ahead, Gray Stone Day will head out to challenge North Rowan at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Stanly, they will take on Parkwood at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
