Baseball Recap: Van Horn Comes Up Short

Van Horn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the McCamey Badgers, falling 11-4. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Badgers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-2 on Friday.

Daniel Fodge led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-4 with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Jared Arrazate was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.

Van Horn's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for McCamey, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-8.

Coming up, Van Horn will challenge Da Vinci at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. McCamey does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
