Volleyball Recap: Rochester Takes a Loss

Rochester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Flushing Raiders. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2021.

Rochester's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Flushing, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rochester will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Stoney Creek at 5:00 p.m. on September 9. As for Flushing, they will head out to square off against Davison at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
