Soccer Recap: Delphi Community Comes Up Short

If Delphi Community was riding high fresh off their 5-1 takedown of Rossville on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Oracles lost 9-1 to the North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers on Thursday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Delphi Community were already down 7-1.

Delphi Community's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for North Montgomery, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5-1.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Delphi Community will venture away from home to take on Tipton at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Delphi Community's defense better be ready for this one: Tipton have averaged an impressive 4.5 goals per game this season. As for North Montgomery, they will face off against Twin Lakes at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Montgomery are facing Twin Lakes at the right time seeing as Twin Lakes are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
