Basketball Game Preview: Anderson Trojans vs. Navarro Vikings

Anderson has gone 5-0 against Navarro recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Anderson Trojans will be playing at home against the Navarro Vikings at 8:00 p.m. Anderson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Navarro likes a good challenge.

Anderson is returning to their home court after beating Bastrop on theirs, despite the fact Bastrop has dominated at home this season. Anderson managed a 61-56 victory over Bastrop on Friday.

Anderson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brooke Fuller, who posted 19 points and three steals. Fuller is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Lucy Swanson, who had 11 points along with seven assists and six steals.

Meanwhile, Navarro ended up a good deal behind Crockett on Friday and lost 62-44. The loss continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now lost three in a row.

Anderson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Navarro, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-14.

Anderson took their win against Navarro in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 57-32. Does Anderson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Navarro turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
