Football Game Preview: Rivercrest Colts vs. Booneville Bearcats + Official Tickets

The Rivercrest Colts will face off against the Booneville Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Booneville will be up against a hot Rivercrest squad: the team just extended their winning streak to seven. The Colts took their contest last Friday with ease, bagging a 48-8 win over Piggott. With the Colts ahead 34-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Rivercrest's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Buddah Harris, who picked up 180 receiving yards and three TDs. That's the most receiving yards Harris has posted since back in September. Another rusher making a difference was Lexx Latham, who rushed for 100 yards and three scores on only five carries.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Booneville had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Bulldogs 69-27. The Bearcats' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Booneville's win bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Rivercrest, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
