Fort Defiance came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Alleghany Cougars as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The win didn't come easy: Alleghany scored at least 21 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 25-21.

Maecy Ann Frizzelle paced Fort Defiance's offense, picking up 17 kills. Frizzelle got some help from Alexis Miller and her 27 assists. Miller and Frizzelle didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Fort Defiance's victory bumped their record up to 6-0.

Looking ahead, Fort Defiance will take on Stuarts Draft at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alleghany, they will face off against Waynesboro at 7:20 p.m. on Thursday. The Cougars are facing the Little Giants at the right time seeing as the Little Giants are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
