Basketball Recap: Thales Academy Rolesville Victorious

Thales Academy Rolesville won the last time they faced Friendship Christian and things went their way on Monday too. The Thales Academy Rolesville Knights walked away with a 39-28 win over the Friendship Christian Falcons. The team accrued 30 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.

Thales Academy Rolesville found their leader in sophomore Mary Niebauer, who went 7 of 12 on her way to 18 points in addition to seven rebounds and four steals. Julia Van Valkenburg was another key player, putting up nine points and four steals.

Thales Academy Rolesville's win bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Friendship Christian, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.

Thales Academy Rolesville will host St. Thomas More Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. Thomas More Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Thales Academy Rolesville surely won't give up without a fight. Friendship Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
