Basketball Recap: Carlsbad Snags Third Victory in Last Four Games

Carlsbad's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 53-45 win over the Centennial Hawks. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cavemen/Cavegirls also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Carlsbad is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Centennial, they dropped their record down to 4-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carlsbad will challenge Lovington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Centennial has already played their next contest (against Alamogordo), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
