The West Mesquite Wranglers will head out on the road to take on the Wilson Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

West Mesquite took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Everything went their way against Adams as West Mesquite made off with a 13-1 victory. The Wranglers haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Avery Cox looked comfortable as she pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-low in walks (zero).

At the plate, Chasity Thomas was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Ava Garza, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

West Mesquite kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
