Baseball Recap: Howard Takes a Loss

Howard saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They fell 6-1 to the Magruder Colonels. The contest marked the Lions' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Howard saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Nystrom, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Howard and nudges their season record down to 6-3. As for Magruder, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Howard will face off against Glenelg on Wednesday. As for Magruder, they will square off against Wheaton at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
