Softball Recap: Indian Trail Beats South Milwaukee for Their Third Straight Victory

Indian Trail extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping their season record up to 9-7 in the process. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the South Milwaukee Rockets. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2019.

As for South Milwaukee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-3. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for they, who until this game were averaging 2.87 runs allowed.

For South Milwaukee's part, Amber Helgren was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and one run.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Indian Trail will welcome Racine Case at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Milwaukee, they will take on Kenosha Tremper at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
