It was a good run, but Espanola Valley unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Santa Fe Demons by a score of 69-66. If the Sundevils were looking for revenge after losing 65-43 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Espanola Valley's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-4. As for Santa Fe, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-5.

Espanola Valley will face off against Pojoaque Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Espanola Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Pojoaque Valley likes a good challenge. As for Santa Fe, they will be playing at home against St. Michael's at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Michael's will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Santa Fe surely won't give up without a fight.
