Basketball Recap: Gray Stone Day Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Gray Stone Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Elevation Prep Academy Honey Badgers and fell 80-40.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Elevation Prep Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kassim Cauley, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Cauley now owns an excellent 47.2% shooting accuracy. STEPHEN SHAKO was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 18 points and nine boards.

Gray Stone Day's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Elevation Prep Academy, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Coming up, Gray Stone Day will take on Central Academy of Technology & Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Knights surely won't give up without a fight. As for Elevation Prep Academy, they will challenge Oak Ridge Military Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
