Basketball Recap: Gilbert Classical Academy Takes a Loss

Gilbert Classical Academy suffered their biggest defeat since January 26, 2024 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 94-49 loss at the hands of the San Tan Charter Roadrunners. The defeat continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Roadrunners: they've now lost nine in a row.

Gilbert Classical Academy's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Blake Carlson, who went 7 for 14 en route to 18 points, and Jimmy Klauba, who went 5 of 8 to rack up 15 points and five assists. Thanks to that strong game, Carlson now owns an excellent 46.4% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Yates, who posted four points and eight rebounds.
