Baseball Recap: Diman RVT Sets Scoring Season-High Against Southeastern RVT

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Diman RVT). They were the clear victors by a 15-3 margin over the Southeastern RVT Hawks on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Bengals, who have now won four games in a row.

Diman RVT got a great performance from Ian Morales-Campbell as he tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.

At the plate, Diman RVT let Owen Dorego and Cam Falcon run wild. Dorego went 4-for-5 with three runs, three doubles, and four RBI, while Falcon went 4-for-5 with six RBI, one triple, and one double. Those four hits gave Dorego a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Matt Almeida, who went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.

Diman RVT always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .524. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Diman RVT's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Southeastern RVT, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coming up, Diman RVT will take on Brockton at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Southeastern RVT, they will challenge Bristol-Plymouth RVT at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Craftsmen's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
