Basketball Recap: Verona Takes a Loss

Verona lost against Sun Prairie East back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Verona Wildcats took a 96-92 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sun Prairie East Cardinals.

Verona's defeat dropped their record down to 17-6. As for Sun Prairie East, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats challenge the Cougars at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sun Prairie East, they will venture away from home to square off against Sun Prairie West at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
