ALA - West Foothills never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Highland Prep Honey Badgers with a sharp 15-0 win. Considering the Guardians have won five games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lucas Brittan was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. He was even better at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

In other pitching news, Parker Schmidt looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.
