Middle Creek has gone a perfect 10-0 against Cary recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will take on the Imps at 6:00 p.m. Middle Creek is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.

Grace Christian hit Middle Creek with a five-run third inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Mustangs lost 13-2 to the Crusaders. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Middle Creek saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kristen Norton, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Cary couldn't beat Green Level on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Imps came up short against the Gators, falling 14-4. The Imps haven't had much luck with the Gators recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Middle Creek now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Cary, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Cary's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Middle Creek hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .317. It's a different story for Cary, though, as they've only averaged .252. Will they be able to contain Middle Creek's hitters?

Middle Creek got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Cary by a conclusive 17-2 score. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Imps have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
