Basketball Recap: Ridgeview Wolf Pack vs. Independence Falcons
The Ridgeview Wolf Pack pushed their score all the way to 58 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 65-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of Independence. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Ridgeview in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now lost three in a row.
It was another big night for AMARIUS "AR" ROWEL, who scored 24 points along with five assists for Independence.
Ridgeview has not been sharp recently as the team's lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season. As for Independence, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridgeview will face off against the Drillers at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Bakersfield is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. As for Independence, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Royals at 3:00 p.m. on February 3rd.
