Soccer Game Preview: Boardman vs. Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin

The Boardman Spartans will take on the Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Boardman fell victim to Austintown-Fitch and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. Boardman have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin took on Mentor on Saturday. The Lions and the Cardinals finished up their matchup with a 0-0 draw.

Boardman's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12-1. With that draw, Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin's record moves to 9-5-3.
