Soccer Game Preview: Trinity vs. V.R. Eaton

Trinity is on a three-game streak of home losses, V.R. Eaton a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Trinity Trojans will welcome the V.R. Eaton Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

On Friday, Trinity didn't have quite enough to beat Keller and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for V.R. Eaton's offense. They lost 5-0 to Byron Nelson on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 649th, while the Bobcat are ranked 313th).

V.R. Eaton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Trinity, they now have a losing record at 4-5-1.

Trinity skirted past V.R. Eaton 2-1 in their previous matchup back in January of 2019. Does Trinity have another victory up their sleeve, or will V.R. Eaton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
