Basketball Recap: Banneker Comes Up Short

On Thursday, the Banneker Trojans came up short against the Morrow Mustangs and fell 61-52. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Among those leading the charge was Jameel Brown, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Andre Jernigan, who put up ten points.

Banneker's defeat dropped their record down to 7-8. As for Morrow, their victory bumped their record up to 5-10.

Banneker didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-51 loss against Northgate on the 14th. Morrow has also already played their next contest, a 52-47 defeat against Dutchtown on the 14th.
