Football Recap: Cordell Takes a Loss

Cordell played against Carnegie on Friday and lost via forfeit.

Cordell's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Carnegie, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cordell will take on Apache at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Devils will be up against the Warriors' rather soft defense (which has allowed 42 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Carnegie, they will face off against Texhoma/Goodwell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
