The Montgomery Vikings will face off against the Santa Rosa Panthers at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Rosa took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Montgomery, who comes in off a win.

Montgomery was handed a three-set loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They won by a set and slipped past Maria Carrillo 3-2. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Pumas recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Montgomery was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-22, 14-25, 25-22, 15-6.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Santa Rosa challenged Cardinal Newman on Thursday. The Panthers came up short against the Cardinals, falling 3-0.

While Santa Rosa was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-16.

Santa Rosa has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Montgomery, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
