After losing to Cherry Creek the last time they met, Chaparral decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bruins on Saturday. The matchup marked the Wolverines' most dominant win of the season so far.

Lauren Waggoner paced Chaparral's offense, picking up 11 kills. Waggoner really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 11. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Chaparral's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Cherry Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Chaparral will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Fossil Ridge at 6:00 p.m. As for Cherry Creek, they will head out to take on Legend at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
