Volleyball Game Preview: Crawford Pirates vs. Lindsay Knights

The Crawford Pirates will square off against the Lindsay Knights on Thursday. Crawford is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 14 games.

Crawford is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Frost.

Crawford's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Averi Bolgiano, who had nine digs and six aces, and Leyton Minnix, who had 15 digs. Those six aces gave Bolgiano a new career-high. Camrie Buice also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Meanwhile, Lindsay made easy work of Cumby on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Crawford's victory bumped their record up to 29-15. As for Lindsay, their win bumped their record up to 36-8.

Everything went Crawford's way against Lindsay in their previous meeting back in November of 2020, as Crawford made off with a 3-0 victory. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
