Basketball Recap: Columbia Wins Going Away Against Caldwell

Columbia won the last time they faced Caldwell and things went their way on Thursday too. The Columbia Wildcats blew past the Caldwell Cougars 52-31. The Wildcats pushed the score to 45-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars cut but never quite recovered from.

The victory made it two in a row for Columbia and bumps their season record up to 4-8. As for Caldwell, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia will host Middleton at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Middleton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Caldwell, they will welcome Bishop Kelly at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
