South has been on a difficult stretch since their win on the 1st. They lost 9-1 to the Manhattan Indians on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to South of the 8-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

South's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5-1. As for Manhattan, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4-1.

Looking ahead, South will challenge Heights on Thursday. South will be up against Heights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.86 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Manhattan, they will be playing at home against Kapaun Mt. Carmel on Saturday.
