Baseball Recap: Middle Park Takes a Loss

Middle Park lost against Summit on Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers lost 14-1 to the Tigers. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Middle Park saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Diogui Laynes, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. Laynes has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

Middle Park's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Summit, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Middle Park didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-1 victory against Arrupe Jesuit on the 7th. As for Summit, they have also already played their next game, a 21-6 win against Steamboat Springs on the 9th.
