Football Recap: Valencia Piles Up the Points Against Santiago

Valencia put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Santiago Cavaliers 28-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Tigers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 24th, while the Cavaliers are ranked 197th).

Valencia didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Camil Castill-Patino and Kendra Moyer.

Valencia's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Santiago, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Valencia didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 25-14 win against Sierra Vista on the 25th. As for Santiago, they will square off against Bolsa Grande at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
