After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Trinity Christian, Freedom Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 63-14 win over the Village Christian Academy Knights. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 30 points or more this season.

Freedom Christian Academy was led to victory by Allison Lett and Zarah Lewis. Lett dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds, while Lewis went 5 of 12 on her way to 12 points and four steals. Lett is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down ten or more in the last four games she's played. Kaylee Powell was another key player, putting up eight points and seven rebounds.

Despite the loss, Village Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: freshman Alli Carberry posted eight points.

Freedom Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.6 points per game. As for Village Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 1-16 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Freedom Christian Academy beat Village Christian Academy by a score of 58-9 on Tuesday.
