Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Amador Valley). Everything went their way against the Granada Matadors on Thursday as Amador Valley made off with a 15-6 win. With that victory, the Dons brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Kaylee Davis was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with three RBI and one double.
