After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Uintah, North Sanpete was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Millard Eagles with a sharp 61-36 victory. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 25 points or more this season.

North Sanpete got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Mariah Schlappi out in front who posted 24 points along with six boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Malia Schlappi, who scored 16 points and five steals.

North Sanpete pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.0 points over those games. As for Millard, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Sanpete is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Richfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Millard, they will head out to take on South Sevier at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
