Volleyball Recap: Manchester West Takes a Loss

Manchester West lost against Somersworth back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Blue Knights lost 3-0 to the Toppers. The Blue Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-17, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Kylie Pettengill, who had four digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 30 times she's played.

Manchester West's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Somersworth, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Manchester West will challenge rival Winnisquam at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Somersworth is set to face off against their familiar foe Campbell at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
