Basketball Recap: Sheffield Takes a Loss

Sheffield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-59 heartbreaker at the hands of the Colbert County Indians. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Indians from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Sheffield now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Colbert County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Sheffield will challenge Rogers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Colbert County, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Hatton at 7:30 p.m.
