 Mountain View scored the most  runs they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They blew past the Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs 14-1. The high-scoring effort was just what Mountain View needed considering they were shutout in their previous   match.
  Elian Tortoledo was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only two  hits over four innings pitched. Tortoledo was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-4 with two  RBI and a  double.
 In other pitching news,  Tavish Moody looked comfortable as he  tossed  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (he also didn't allow any  walks).
 Back at the plate, Mountain View got a big performance out of  Caden Imes, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Jack Akin, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2.
 The  victory  got Mountain View back to even at 3-3. As for Judge Memorial Catholic, they  haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
 Mountain View will head out on the road to  face off against  Granger at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday. Granger has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.67  runs per game on average), something Mountain View will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Judge Memorial Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bonneville at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. Judge Memorial Catholic has given up an average of 10.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
