Baseball Recap: Santa Fe Christian Takes a Loss

Santa Fe Christian fell victim to Bishop and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They fell just short of the Knights by a score of 1-0. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Knights earlier this season, when they won 7-6.

Santa Fe Christian got a good showing from Will Cavanaugh, who didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. Cavanaugh has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.
