Riverview Sarasota was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Cardinal Mooney Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Riverview Sarasota took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 25-21.

Riverview Sarasota's loss dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Cardinal Mooney, they pushed their record up to 13-10 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.
