Recap: Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin vs. Georgetown-Ridge Farm

Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin won the last time they faced Georgetown-Ridge Farm, and things went their way on Friday, too. Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin were able to grind out a solid victory over Georgetown-Ridge Farm, winning 35-26.

Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin took a little while to warm up, but they followed up a slow first quarter with 14 points in the second. Georgetown-Ridge Farm put up 6, so the score was 14-6 at the half. The offense for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 21 points to put the game away.

Junior Caleb Lahey was the offensive standout of the match for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, as he rushed for 225 yards and 1 touchdown. Junior Avery Mcconkey was in the mix, too, providing Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin with 3 touchdowns. The win bumped their record up to 4-0. The loss dropped Georgetown-Ridge Farm's record to 1-3.

Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin will stay at home next week against Westville at 7:00 PM. Georgetown-Ridge Farm will be staying on the road, facing off against Hoopeston/Armstrong/Schlarman. Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend.
