Soccer Recap: Beaver Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Beaver was feeling good fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Ambridge last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats came up short against the Quaker Valley Quakers on Monday, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, Beaver can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 139th, while Quaker Valley are ranked 27th).

Beaver's loss dropped their record down to 8-7-1. As for Quaker Valley, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beaver will welcome Riverside at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Quaker Valley, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Central Valley at 7:00 p.m.
